Hastelloy, such as C-276, consists of high nickel content, significant chromium, molybdenum, and sometimes tungsten. It also has low carbon and various alloying elements. For Hastelloy C-276, the tensile strength is approximately 790 MPa, yield strength around 355 MPa, and elongation of about 40%. It has a high melting point of around 1370 °C and demonstrates excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and oxidation.
